This course covers the requirements of the OSHA Permit-Required Confined Space Standard.ย Course topics include safety and health hazards associated with confined space entry, and the evaluation, prevention, and abatement of these hazards.ย The course covers OSHA requirements; itย does not feature workshops (instrumentation, control methods and testing) which are included in the OSHA #2264ย Permit-Required Confined Space Entry.ย This course is designed for small employers or a designated representative (line supervisor or manager) with the responsibility to develop a permit-required confined space program.ย Upon course completion students will have a basic understanding of confined space hazards, evaluating and abatement of the hazards, and determining when a confined space shall be classified as a permit-required confined space.

To register for an OSHA Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT), you must provide at least one(1) address within the OSHA Philadelphia Region (formerly Region 3). The states are: Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, Delaware, West Virginia and Pennsylvania. This applies to your Permanent Mailing Address, Material Shipping Address, Company Mailing Address, and/or Billing Address.
If you register for a VILT training and none of your provided addresses are within the OSHA Philadelphia Region, you will not be eligible for a full refund.
