National Safety Council’s First Aid Institute is an internationally recognized authority on first aid procedures and CPR & AED Instruction. Both programs are recognized by Federal OSHA and Maryland Occupational Safety & Health (MOSH). CPR programs comply with the latest guidelines as outlined by the American Heart Association.

When we updated our programs to cover the latest CPR and Emergency Cardiac Care Guidelines and techniques, we improved every aspect of the program. National Safety Council’s First Aid and CPR programs meet OSHA requirements for training. Instructor candidates are certified in First Aid. CPR and AED as part of class training. Certification is valid for 2 years.

Requirements:

• Instructors are required to purchase a student text for each student they teach
• Instructor credentials must be renewed every two years
